FYI...Green Earth - Grass Update

From: Green Earth - There isn't much we can do with the turf at this time. Since we recently put the rye grass down, it takes a few weeks for it to actually root in. If we mow too low, we will pull the seedlings out of the ground, if we try and rake the mower tracks out, we will pull the seedlings out. Rye grass is meant to be tall and we actually should have waited another week before mowing, but with the home game tomorrow, I had them go ahead and mow it on a high setting. Once the seeds root in well, we should be able to drop our mower decks some and get a better cut on it. You're always going to have tracks in the turf, even from walking on it, so there isn't much we can do about the tracks either.
